We are seeking a Service / TestTechnician for a testing systems / equipment manufacturing company inActon MA. This role is responsible for setting up conducting andtroubleshooting tests on testing equipment with a focus onrefrigeration HVAC and electrical systems and ensuring equipmentquality and performance.
This is a DIRECT HIREposition.
Responsibilities :
- Starting up troubleshooting and performingtests on our standard product line including the calibration andoperation of refrigeration HVAC and electricalsystems
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues withsystems making necessary adjustments or repairs to ensure properfunctionality
- Perform basic final assemblywork
- Ensure products meet quality andperformance standards
- Implement and improveprocedures
- Gather and document pertinent dataon the performance of products andprototypes
- Maintain standards for producttesting and inspection as part of the overall qualitystandard
- Participate in a team environment todevelop and design new and existingproducts
- Implement and participate in Lean and5S processes and projects
- Working closely withthe engineering and quality teams to improve overall productquality.
Requirements :
- High school diploma or equivalentrequired
- Previous experience with HVAC / Rsystems refrigeration and electricalsystems
- Competent with computers includingGoogle suites preferred
- Previous experience ina test or service technician role preferably in a manufacturing orcommercial environment preferred
- Strongproblemsolving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolvecomplex technical issues
- Proficiency in readingand interpreting technical drawings schematics and wiringdiagrams
- Knowledge of Lean methodologiespreferred
- Knowledge of test standards (ASTM IECISO MILSTD) preferred
The scheduleis MonFri 7AM3 : 30PM. This is a DIRECT HIRE position. The pay isdependent on experience.
