Job Summary :
Opis Renewable Services Inc. is seeking an experienced and dedicated BESS (Battery Energy Storage Systems) Training Course Instructor to provide high-quality instruction on battery energy storage system safety, installation, and maintenance practices.
This position requires a solid understanding of BESS technology and the ability to deliver both theoretical and practical training sessions.
As a key instructor, you will ensure that trainees acquire the necessary skills and certifications to excel in the rapidly growing energy storage industry.
Key Responsibilities :
- Course Development : Design and customize BESS training courses to meet both organizational and industry standards, while adhering to the latest BESS protocols and safety requirements.
- Lead Training Sessions : Conduct comprehensive courses combining theoretical knowledge with practical hands-on exercises, ensuring that trainees fully understand and can apply the skills in real-world scenarios.
- Certification Management : Ensure all trainees meet the qualifications and standards required to obtain BESS certifications.
- Safety Compliance : Maintain strict safety guidelines during all training sessions and emphasize the importance of proper safety procedures.
- Course Improvement : Stay updated with advancements in BESS technology and industry regulations, and continually enhance the course content to reflect these changes.
- Trainee Assessment and Feedback : Gather feedback from course participants and adjust course materials or methodologies to improve the learning experience.
- Equipment Oversight : Ensure that all training equipment is well-maintained, safe, and up-to-date, and assist in acquiring any new tools needed for training.
- Industry Collaboration : Work closely with industry bodies and stakeholders to ensure course content aligns with the evolving needs of the BESS sector.
Requirements :
- Certified Instructor with qualifications in BESS or a similar renewable energy discipline.
- Proven experience in conducting BESS training, with a focus on safety, installation, commissioning, and maintenance.
- In-depth knowledge of energy storage systems and industry standards, including safety protocols.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage both classroom and field instruction, including performing physically demanding tasks when necessary.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain high standards in delivering training courses and ensuring compliance with industry best practices.
- Familiarity with emergency safety protocols specific to BESS is an advantage.
