A rising local civil engineering firm is looking for their next Project Engineer specializing in Water Resource Projects .

Project Engineer Requirements :

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Over 3 years of experience in the civil engineering field.
  • PE Registration in California, or the ability to obtain CA registration within 1 year if relocating from another state with a PE.
  • Proficiency with GIS, AutoCAD, and Civil3D.

Job Description :

  • Designing projects across different disciplines, including levee design, water treatment plants (WTPs), pump stations, pipelines, and storage tanks.
  • Conducting hydraulic modeling for potable water systems and flooding analyses.
  • Creating figures, maps, and other graphics utilizing AutoCAD and GIS software.
  • Drafting technical reports and memoranda.
  • Collaborating effectively with fellow staff engineers, project managers, and principal engineers.

Desired prior experience includes :

  • Designing potable water systems
  • Designing wastewater / storm drain systems
  • Planning water / wastewater systems
  • Designing flood control systems
