Calling on Speech-Language Pathologists based in Columbia, SC, who enjoy working in a school setting, and like the prospect of working with a Speech Pathology Assistant (SLPA)!
Soliant has partnered with a school district in the area, and is seeking an SLP to partner up with up to 2 SLPAs, to support the District in their speech needs.
As an SLP working in conjunction with SLPA(s), applicants will :
- Be responsible for evaluations of new referrals, and periodic re-evaluations of current students, in accordance with District timelines
- Develop IEP goals, and report on findings in IEP meetings
- Make recommendations for therapy activities with students, in collaboration with SLPA
- Schedule periodic observations of SLPA's services for students
- Provide feedback to parents and staff on student progress
- Periodically review SLPA's progress notes and other documentation

- South Carolina SLP license
