Principal Service Solutions is hiring Manufacturing Technicians in Hillsboro, OR to work on semiconductor equipment in a manufacturing fab / cleanroom environment.

Pay Rate :

Pay is $18.54 / hr, + shift premiums (15%) for night shift

Shift and Schedule :

• Shift 1 - Days (Floater) Monday to Friday. Start Time 7 : 00 AM to 4 : 30 PM.
• Shift 4 - Nights - Works every Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and every other Saturday. Start Time : 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 30 AM

Shift and Schedule :

• 12-hour shifts / days and nights available
• Day Shift (1) (Floater) Monday to Friday. Start Time 7 : 00 AM to 4 : 30 PM.
• Day Shift (5) Works every Sun, Mon, Tue, e / o Wed. Start Time : 07 : 00 AM to 7 : 30 PM Note : Must be at the station in fab by the start time of 07 : 00 AM
• Day Shift (7) Works every Thurs, Fri, Sat e / o Wed. Start Time : 07 : 00 AM to 7 : 30 PM Note : Must be at the station in fab by the start time of 07 : 00 AM
• Start Time : 07 : 00 AM to 7 : 30 PM Note : Must be at the station in fab by the start time of 07 : 00 AM
• Night Shift (4) Works every Sun, Mon, Tues e / o Saturday. Start Time : 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 30 AM Note : Must be at the station in fab by the start time of 07 : 00 PM
• Night Shift (6) Works every Wed, Thurs, Fri, e / o Saturday. Start Time : 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 30 AM Note : Must be at the station in fab by the start time of 07 : 00 PM

Job duties :

• Preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, spares, and sustaining.
• Collecting and evaluating operating data to condon-line equipment adjustment and ensure process optimization.
• Improvement processes, troubleshooting nonstandard events in the production line, and reviewing technological health and stability.
• The ideal candidate should exhibit the following behavioral traits :
• Great attention to detail
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Judgment and initiative in resolving complex nonstandard problems and developing recommendations.
• Verbal and written communication skills.

Qualifications :

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Military training in a technical field such as Electronics, Mechanical, or similar Technical field preferred
• Certification in a technical field such as Microelectronics, Electronic Engineering Technology, Computer Electronic Engineering Technology, or related field of study preferred
• Experience in mechanical and / or electrical maintenance, manufacturing environment, semiconductor environment or related field is preferred

Candidate must be willing to :

• Work in a cleanroom environment wearing PPE - face mask or respirator, booties, safety glasses, and gloves.
• Lift up to 25 lbs
• Spend the majority of the time (greater than 90%) on the floor working on tool sets, walking 2-4 miles a day, and / or standing, or sitting for 9 hours.
