As the Plant Safety Manager, you're the heart and soul of the operation. Your leadership ensures a smooth-running facility, optimizing resources and driving production to meet demanding quality standards.

Job Duties :
- Plan, organize, direct and run optimum day-to-day operations
- Increase production, assets capacity and flexibility while minimizing unnecessary costs and maintaining quality standards
- Facilitate production output, product quality, and on-time shipping
- Allocate resources effectively and fully utilize assets to produce optimal results
- Implement strategies in alignment with strategic initiatives and provide a clear sense of direction and focus
- Develop an environment that values diversity and utilizes various individual's strengths to benefit the site and organization
- Promote employee involvement and engagement in site programs and processes
- Collect and analyze data to find places of waste or overtime
- Commit to plant safety procedures
- Implement capital projects and training programs to attain volume and productivity goals
- Develop and ensure execution of site budgets
- Manage, coach, and develop members of the management team
- Guide teams in effectively utilizing the tools of Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing to complete continuous improvement projects
- Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements
Qualifications :
- Have a bachelor's degree or higher in Management, Engineering, Business Administration, Operations, or Chemistry
- Have prior work experience using a safety management system
- Must have experience working in a PSM environment
- Experience or full understanding of resin or reactive chemistry
