Director of Clinical Services & Clinical Manager

What are we looking for?

On behalf of our client, a home health agency with locations in Tucson and Phoenix, we are hiring a Clinical Director who will be responsible for the overall direction of home health clinical services.

In this position, you will establish, implement and evaluate goals and objectives that meet and promote the standards of quality and contribute to the total organization and philosophy.

This position also includes the responsibility of Clinical Manager to meet Medicare Conditions of Participation.

Responsibilities

  • Coordination and oversight of all direct and indirect patient services performed by clinical organization personnel
  • Provide guidance and counselling to Clinical Supervisors to assist and improve all aspects of care services
  • Assist the management team with yearly budgets, census management and forecasting
  • Hiring and management of supervisors and clinical personnel as well as conducting clinical performance evaluations
  • Oversight and maintenance of patient clinical records, for evaluation and reporting as well as in compliance with local, state and federal laws
  • Development, implementation and evaluation of orientation programs
  • Planning and implementation of continuous education programs
  • Promotion of home health referrals in the community
  • Review OASIS assessments to ensure compliance, utilizing OASIS variation and / or alert reports
  • Responsible for approriate ICD-10 coding and sequencing
  • Providing direction and coordination of continuous quality improvement

Skills

  • Registered Nurse, Nurse Practitioner or Physician with current and active license in Arizona
  • A degree in Medicine or Associates degree in Nursing
  • At least 3 years of management experience in a home health or related health care organization
  • Demonstrated ability to supervise and direct professional administrative personnel
  • Excellent observation, verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of business management, government regulations and ACHC standards
  • Initial experience or orientation to the Administrator job will be preferred
