S. Excellent opportunities to teach fellows, residents and medical students while practicing in one of the safest communities in Wisconsin.
Daytime ICU coverage is rotated for a week at a time, supported by 2 Advanced Care Providers. Similarly inpatient Pulmonary consult service is covered a week at a time.
Night call is supported by 1 Advanced Care Provider. The balance of the practice is dedicated to outpatient office consults. Highlights include :
- Pulmonary office is located in the only hospital covered
- Subspecialty training or interest in Sleep Medicine, Interstitial Lung Disease or Interventional Pulmonology is preferred but not required
- General in-patient call will be 1 : 5 upon completion of recruitment
- EBUS / Navigation bronchoscopy available
- Advanced ultrasound available in ICU as well as in clinic
- Community pulmonary / critical care fellowship program
- Family Medicine residency
- Medical students from Medical College of Wisconsin also rotate through our clinics and ICU
