Job Description

Hawai'i Pacific Health is a not-for-profit health care network with over 70 locations statewide including medical centers, clinics, physicians and other caregivers serving Hawai'i and the Pacific Region with high quality, compassionate care.

The Supply Chain Management team is dedicated to overseeing the contracting for and procurement and analysis of equipment, merchandise and supplies within the organization’s guidelines for cost, quality and accurate delivery.

Staff may review and develop pricing agreements, maintain the division management information system module, analyze data to provide standardization / cost reduction opportunities, place orders for items or physically receive, stock and transport a variety of items to and from off-site locations, handle messenger pickups and deliveries outside the facilities, maintain stockroom inventories, route incoming goods to proper departments and research or negotiate products according to quality, price and value standards.

Under the general direction of the Director of Logistics and Systems or designee, assists Contract Administrator with various projects and assignments including discharge of vendor agreements, maintenance of contract documentation and files, internal communication of contract provisions, and the development and success of contract related processes.

In collaboration with Supply Chain Management and Clinical Operations staff, optimizes Physician Preference Item (PPI) and consignment inventory agreements.

Minimum Qualifications : Bachelor’s degree in Health Administration, Business, or related field or equivalent combination of education, training, and / or related work experience.

Preferred Qualifications : Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Health Care Administration. One (1) year experience related to purchasing, contract analysis, proposal development or related functions.

Experience in a health care supply chain management contracting or finance / analysis.

Hawai i Pacific Health offers a comprehensive and competitive total rewards package that includes pay and benefits. The pay rate, if displayed, is the minimum hourly rate for the position.

Rate of pay for selected candidates will be determined by various factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, relevant experience and training, as well as internal peer equity.

Starting Hourly Rate : 23.43
