We currently have a TEMPORARY Full time career oopportunity available to join the HKNC team as a Housekeeping Aide.

Hours : Monday-Friday 8 : 30am-4 : 30pm

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Remove soiled linens from beds and transfer to linen room.
• Turn mattresses and remake beds, utilizing mattress covers, sheets, pillowcases and bedspreads.
• Remove debris and maintain cleanliness of bedrooms, bathrooms, second floor corridor bathrooms and first floor offices.

Empty wastebaskets, clean mirrors and polish metal bathroom fixtures.

• Clean bathrooms (scrub basins, toilets, showers and floors). Clean glass shelving and mirrors and polish metal bathroom fixtures.
• Replenish supplies (clean towels, bathmats, soap, toilet paper, etc.).
• Report any damage or condition requiring repair to the Supervisor of Housekeeping, Residence Director and / or Plant Operations.
• Responsible for other duties as may be assigned or requested by his / her immediate supervisor and / or the Director of the Department.

Required Education / Experience

• High school diploma or equivalency preferred.
• Must be able to read and understand written instructions and be able to write supply requests as needed.
