Key Responsibilities :
- Strong leadership skills and communication skills
- Interpret and work from construction drawings and blueprints.
- Select and procure appropriate lumber and materials.
- Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood and other materials to specifications.
- Install doors, windows, cabinets, trim, molding, and hardware, and foundations.
- Perform siding and exterior finish work as needed.
- Diagnose and repair structural issues and damages.
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Collaborate effectively with project teams and subcontractors.
- Maintain and care for tools and equipment.
Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 5+ years of practical experience as a carpenter
- Proficiency in carpentry tools and equipment.
- Knowledge of building codes and regulations.
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects.
- Commitment to safety and safe work practices.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
