Work Location - In person
Compensation :
$60,000 - $100,000+ yearly
Responsibilities :
- Assist attorneys in preparing legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and discovery requests
- Conduct legal research to support attorneys in case preparation
- Heavy emphasis on strategizing with attorneys, attention to detail, and treating each case uniquely in order to develop necessary evidence to maximize claim value
- Strong oral and written communication skills coupled with the ability to think on your feet
- Coordinate and schedule depositions, hearings, and meetings
- Communicate with clients, witnesses, and court personnel to assist in case management
Qualifications :
- 5+ years of experience as a Litigation Paralegal
- Candidate Must have significant litigation experience prosecuting or defending personal injury cases
- Proficiency in legal research and writing
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Familiarity with e-discovery software
- US Work Authorization
- Proximity to McKinney, TX. This is not a remote job
