The Infection Prevention Coordinator (Infection Prevention Coordinator 4) for the Patient Care Services Infection Prevention Department has the primary responsibility to provide expertise in Infection Prevention Control and Hospital Epidemiology for patients and staff in all areas of the Medical Center, Hospital Service Departments (HSDs), and hospital-based clinics as well as the entire network of Primary Care Network (PCNs) under UC Davis Health.
The Infection Prevention Coordinator has a strong foundation of clinical knowledge in infection prevention and hospital epidemiology and extensive knowledge of continuous process improvement practices, methodologies, project management and change management to develop, coordinate and execute projects and initiatives toward the achievement of organizational goals.
