Position Summary
Career Interest :
The University of Kansas Health System, Department of Pediatrics, is seeking a Behavioral Psychologist. This individual will be responsible for providing care to pediatric patients with common behavioral issues in childhood and adolescence such as internalizing and externalizing disorders.
This role includes teaching graduate-level learners from various disciplines, including medical students and pediatric residents, within a clinical setting.
Participation in interdisciplinary team diagnostic evaluations is also required.
The ideal candidate should have training and experience in Young Child Mental Health, evaluation and treatment of severe mental illness in children and adolescence, dialectical behavior therapy, young child behavior management, screening and treatment for suicide and self-harm in children.
This candidate will have obtained a PhD in Clinical Psychology with Children, and be a licensed psychologist (LP), additionally candidates must hold a current license from the Kansas Behavioral Sciences Regulatory Board (BSRB) or be license eligible.
