Responsibilities

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in mechanical, electrical, or related engineering discipline from an ABET-accredited institution. Five to seven years of direct work experience with Li-Ion battery design, manufacturing, testing, test plan development, and validating battery solutions to meet product requirements. Expert understanding of Li-ion battery management and charging strategies and circuits. Strong technical, analytical, planning, and organizational skills. Demonstrated experience facilitating complex projects with multiple stakeholders. Ability to adapt to changing priorities under time constraints. Up to 25% international travel.

Physical Demands

Occasionally required to stand, walk or sit; use hands to grasp, handle or feel objects; use fingers to touch, pick or pinch; reach with hands and arms; push or pull; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; use foot or leg controls; talk or hear. May occasionally lift and / or move objects up to 25 pounds. Vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Salary : Based in Illinois, annual salary range of 130,000–160,000. In addition to salary, competitive benefits are provided as part of the total rewards package. Actual compensation is influenced by factors including skills, experience, and location.
