Senior Financial Analyst, One Global Sourcing

OVERVIEW

The Senior Financial Analyst (SFA) for One Global Sourcing offers an opportunity to develop financial acumen, global enterprise advocacy, cross functional partnership and analytical capabilities.

In this role you will provide critical support to the One Global Sourcing and External Supply Chain Pillar as well as the enterprise in a highly dynamic business environment.

Global Sourcing manages the procurement of raw materials and Indirect services across the enterprise. It is a highly dynamic supply chain function with influence and leadership across all Regions, Corporate and Global Supply Chain.

The Global Sourcing finance team supports the operation and spend management of over $11B in annual spend.

Reporting to the Associate Finance Manager, Global Sourcing P&A, this position on the One Global Sourcing finance team will be a critical enabler for our team to deliver against the global pillar needs.

Specifically supporting North America (NAR / NAF / PET) direct material and external supply chain finance teams through capability and process stewardship of HMM, Inflation and fiscal planning (Inflation Guidance, Spring Plan).

In addition this role will be a critical thought leader to redesign the way we work with advancements from Supply Chain (SC) Finance modernization.

Sourcing and External Supply Chain (ESC) finance are on the cusp or embracing new capabilities to modernize our FP&A processes and need a critical thinker and process leader to reimagine the possible as we embrace and lead through change.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Lead Sourcing and ESC finance team through financial planning deliverables : Inflation Guidance, Spring Plan, Monthly Estimate, Actuals / Quarter close
• Process redesign thought leadership to enable Sourcing Finance to benefit from the capabilities being developed through SC Finance modernization
• Communication to Sourcing and SC leadership re : Global Sourcing (raw material and holistic pillar) outlook and progress against key business objectives
• Build strong relationships with SC Finance leaders, Region Finance teams, NA Sourcing Finance team and work across the matrix to deliver results via candid communication and productive discourse.
• Utilize data, analytics, and insights to enable business decisions and solve business challenges by translating insights to actionable solutions for the business team
• Drive efficiencies in our annual and monthly planning / reporting processes
• Provide clear, concise summaries of performance with functional and cross functional business partners

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field
• 3+ years of related experience
• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability
• Demonstrated ability to be proactive, respond quickly, and adjust to changes
• Process oriented, able to make process improvements, and effectively organize work
• Strong communication skills to influence stakeholders

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Working knowledge of GMI systems including AFO, SAP, CMT

Salary Range

The salary range for this position is $77900.00 - $117000.00 / Annually. At General Mills we strive for each employee's pay at any point in their career to reflect their experiences performance and skills for their current role.

The salary range for this role represents the numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, educations, skills, work experience, certifications, etc.
