Monitor Technician Qualification and Requirements :
- Successful completion of Basic Arrhythmia Course and Knowledge of cardiac rhythms / basic EKG interpretation
- High School diploma or GED is required.
- Strong computer skills.
- 1-year minimum experience in a hospital setting
- BLS Required preferred and may be required for certain specialty units.
- Additional certifications may be required.
