Lead TIG Welder : South Beloit, Illinois

An excellent opportunity is available for a highly skilled Lead TIG Welder to join a growing team. This role requires extensive experience in stainless steel tube and pipe welding, particularly for pharmaceutical-grade equipment. The Lead TIG Welder will be responsible for leading a small welding team, ensuring superior workmanship, maintaining production efficiency, and strictly adhering to sanitary and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities of the Lead TIG Welder

• Lead, train, and mentor a team of TIG welders and fabricators.
• Perform precision TIG welding on stainless steel tubing and piping to meet sanitary and pharmaceutical requirements.
• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot orbital welding equipment.
• Interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, and welding specifications accurately.
• Inspect welds to ensure compliance with ASME BPE standards and customer specifications.
• Collaborate with production management to ensure timely project completion.
• Enforce safety protocols and uphold quality standards throughout the fabrication process.

Lead TIG Welder Requirements and Qualifications

Pay for Lead TIG Welder : $24-$35 per hour

Lead TIG Welder Benefits :

Type : 1st Shift, Full-time

Schedule : Monday – Friday from 6am – 3pm.
