Summary :

In this role, you will oversee the functions of the Apexus Prime Vendor Distribution Pricing Integrity program. You will contribute to the goal of increasing contract utilization and Participant savings by performing pricing analysis and develop solutions based on thorough and comprehensive research.

You utilize PVP transaction data to identify price discrepancies between pharmaceutical manufacturers, distributors, and 340B Covered Entities.

You will coach, partner, and provide guidance to a team of Portfolio Executives and analysts to ensure contract revenue and savings goals are met.

Responsibilities :

• Collaborate and interact with contracted distributors, manufacturers, and 340B Covered Entities to assist in the resolution of vendor pricing issues.
• Research and resolve escalations and provide guidance, training, and mentorship to Distribution and Sourcing Portfolio Executives, analysts, and other internal associates.
• Provide a monthly and quarterly summary of pricing integrity discrepancies to meet Prime Vendor Participants and HRSA objectives.
• Lead team projects to ensure quality and timely contract pricing delivery and develop SOPs to guide Portfolio Executives and analysts.
• Identify and implement process improvement services and training opportunities to increase efficiencies and improve price accuracy.
• Educate Apexus Prime Vendor Participants and internal associates on services provided (i.e, reports, reporting standards, "self-serve" tools, etc.

Speak at conferences, work with vendors and trade partners and prepare monthly audit data to distributors in network.

Qualifications :

• Relevant degree preferred.
• 5 or more years of relevant experience required.
• Thorough understanding of distribution / manufacturer contract pricing communications, chargeback reconciliation processes, and resolution / review of related reports preferred.
• Understanding of manufacturer contract processes preferred.
• Strong Excel and analytical skills desired.
• Ability to organize data and provide training on related operational processes to internal and external stakeholders.
• Knowledge of purchasing data, contracts, and distributor price management.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Estimated Hiring Range :

At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range.

Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $88,900.00 to $146,700.00.

This position is also incentive eligible.
