Cross Dock Associate
Position Summary :
The Cross Dock Associate role is to check-in product received at the assigned cross dock.
Responsibilities :
- Sweeping, mopping, and trash in lobby, break room, and restrooms.
- Maintain a clean, clear, and organized work area at all times. Clean as you go.
- Maintain assigned equipment, document equipment deficiencies to management.
- Work safely, following applicable safety procedures.
- Report safety issues and concerns immediately.
- Works closely with other departments and leaders to ensure proper product movement and tracking.
- Maintain minimum accepted levels of productivity as specified by department metrics.
- Manage time effectively to minimize non-productive / non-value-added hours.
- Assists with any other tasks or special projects as assigned by the Cross Dock Manager
Qualifications :
- Computer and clerical experience preferred.
- Ability to occasionally move / position product weighing up to 75 lbs. without assistance.
- Must be able to occasionally position self to maintain / move product throughout the facility and be able to remain in a stationary position for long periods of time.
- Must be able to constantly work in an open / outdoor warehouse environment.
- Bilingual (English and Spanish) is preferred.
- High school diploma or GED is required.
