Hospital Medicine: Assistant/Associate Professor, Clinical Scholar Pathway

Posting DetailsPosition will be posted for a minimum of one week, after which it is subject to removal without notice.Advertising CopyWe are seeking an outstanding clinician-educator to join our academic hospitalist group.

This position will be 100% FTE at the assistant or associate professor level on the Clinical Scholar pathway. Key responsibilities include : Providing attending inpatient careProviding consultative care and medical co-management to other hospitalized patientsParticipating in rapid response and code coverage for inpatientsTeaching, evaluating and mentoring medical students and resident physiciansParticipating in divisional and departmental efforts to improve patient safety, quality of care and / or medical educationQualifications include an MD, DO or equivalent degree, board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine, ACLS certification, a commitment to a career in academic hospital medicine, excellent communication skills and a record of engagement in teaching and service.
