The Beverly Wilshire, A Four Seasons Hotel is looking for an Assistant Spa Manager who will oversee and support the day-to-day operations of the Spa, Fitness and Pool.

The Role
The Assistant Spa Manager helps manage and oversees the daily activities of the Spa, Fitness and Pool. The Assistant Spa Manager supports all aspects of the department including : interviewing and training staff, monitoring all areas to ensure cleanliness, consistency and execution of standards such as Forbes and LQA, seamless guest experience, coordinating daily schedules and overall flow of business.
The Assistant Spa Manager creates and is aware of current market trends and is able to motivate the team to sell Spa Retail in a creative and successful manner.
Also, will comply with any other additional requests and duties that may arise pertaining to the department operations and asked by the Director of Spa.
Job Functions
- Manage and oversee all department areas (Spa Front Desk, Fitness Facilities, Pool Experience, Locker Rooms, Tranquility Lounges, Treatment Rooms, and Spa Retail).
- Interview and select job applicants as well as effectively supervise, discipline and give performance evaluations for spa employees.
- Foster positive employee morale.
- Ensure Forbes 5 Star accolade is achieved each year.
- Responsible for the administration of goods, requisitions, inventories, storage and cost effective usage of all department related products, according to standards and budget to ensure for smooth operation.
- Responsible for scheduling, time off requests and future business schedule.
- Oversee the operation of equipment and cleanliness in all spa areas and coordinate special requirements with Housekeeping, Laundry, and Engineering.
- Effectively integrate the Spa with the Hotel operations wherever possible and in accordance to the direction of the Spa.
- Monitor the quality and timeliness of all communication generated by the Spa Department.
- Monitor operating supply funds for the Department and generate necessary purchase requisitions.
- Participate in regular staff meetings to keep employees informed of hotel policies and changes, as well as ways to increase sales and service.
- Create retail purchase orders in accordance to pars and budget. Organize and facilitate monthly and quarterly retail inventory.
- Comply with Four Seasons’ Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as set forth in Four Seasons Employee Book.
- Keep the Spa Director informed about the department, all employees’ performance, and guests’ concerns and comments.
- Participation with external events that represent the Spa Philosophy.

Salary : $69,900.00 - $75,000.00
