Job Summary :
Brad Deery Motors Inc.
is seeking a skilled and experienced Auto Body Technician to join our team in Maquoketa, Iowa.
This is a full-time, individual contributor role in the auto industry.
The role involves repairing and restoring damaged vehicles, ensuring they meet high-quality standards and customer satisfaction.
The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering exceptional auto body repair services.
Compensation & Benefits :
The compensation for this position is $20 to $30 per hour and will be paid weekly.
In addition, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that include medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) with company match, paid time off, and employee discounts on vehicles and services.
Responsibilities :
- Repair and restore damaged vehicles using various tools and techniques
- Conduct thorough inspections to assess the extent of damage and create a detailed repair plan
- Remove damaged parts and replace them with new ones
- Repair dents, scratches, and other imperfections on vehicle surfaces
- Follow safety procedures and use protective equipment when working with hazardous materials
- Utilize computerized systems to track progress and ensure accurate repairs
- Communicate with customers and provide updates on repair progress
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Requirements :
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as an Auto Body Technician
- Strong knowledge of auto body repair techniques, tools, and materials
- Ability to read and interpret technical instructions and diagrams
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Must have own set of tools
