Associate Sales Analyst job responsibilities include :

Pricing System Management (VIP)

• Expert user of VIP and primary system contact
• Maintains current store authorizations by product for all vendor-managed stores and items
• Leads the process to gather costs from all distributors for both Walmart (via VIP) and Sam’s Club (via Pricing Gateway), as well as ad hoc requests outside these systems
• Executes in VIP quarterly buyer negotiated pricing
• Manages accuracy of costs, margins and retails for all SMWE brands in Walmart’s system
• Manage store mods in portal as required
• Audit pricing across states for accuracy of costs, retails and margins
• Works with VIP to set up new distributors in the portal
• Works with VIP to set up new items in the portal

Reporting & Administrative Responsibilities

• Responsible for monitoring SMWE portfolio to ensure all retails meet Walmart’s guidelines and state regulations regarding mark-up and margin
• Walmart Daily Luminate Reporting : Sales, On-hands, Cost and retail alignment
• Provides weekly summary of Walmart pricing changes by state / item to SMWE Walmart team
• Completes new item paperwork and ensures items are set up correctly
• Audits pricing in Control states, Warehouse states, and DSD states for accuracy of costs, retails and margins
• Manages item & distributor matrix
• Tracks new items to make sure they are brought into stores and scanning. Works closely with SMWE Walmart team and distributors to close any gaps.
• Help manage and collect National Pricing from internal SMWE stakeholders for other National Chain customers quarterly

Data Analytic Support

Assists with Luminate and Nielsen reports and analytics for Walmart and Sam’s Club by using available data to draw conclusions and identify trends and opportunities

Position Requirements :

• Four-year college degree or equivalent work experience
• Proficient with Microsoft Office with emphasis on Excel skills (ability to use formulas and link spreadsheets
• Excellent analytical skills demonstrated ability to translate information and data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations
• CPG industry experience preferred
• Solid organizational and project management skills ability to manage multiple projects at once, able to establish priorities, strong detailed execution
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills required
• Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills with team members
• History of responsible use of alcohol and other appropriate conduct, as well as fitness to be licensed, permitted, and / or certified by state and / or local regulatory bodies.

Your Compensation :

$54,382 - $70,762 / yr. based upon relevant experience.
