Registered Dental Hygienist 3 Days a Week (Mon, Tues, Thurs) and 1 Saturday a Month

Practice Highlights
- Fee-for-service 1-doctor dental practice (non-corporate / DSO)
- One (1) adult recall appointments

Important Points About the Position :
Individual can work Monday & Tuesday, seeing patients from 7 : 30 am to 5 : 00 pm, Thursday seeing patient from 9 : 30 am to 7 : 00 pm, and one (1) Saturday a month seeing patients from 7 : 30 am to 1 : 30 pm
A Good Candidate Will Have :
- Working knowledge of ultrasonic instrumentation, laser, intraoral photography
- Ability to take quality x-rays
- Ability to administer local anesthetic is a plus
- Can promote needed treatment to patients
- Team player who is motivated to help grow our hygiene department
- Proficient in their computer skills, digital x-rays (Dexis and Eaglesoft is beneficial)
REQUIRED : Active State of Illinois Dental Hygienist License
Position Days :
- Monday 7 : 30 am to 5 : 00 pm (Seeing Patients)
- Tuesday 7 : 30 am to 5 : 00 pm (Seeing Patients)
- Thursday, 9 : 30 am to 7 : 00 pm (Seeing Patients)
- One Saturday a Month 7 : 30 am to 1 : 30 pm (Seeing Patients)

Responsibilities
- Reviewing the patient dental & medical history
- Performing preventive dental care
- Assess patient’s oral health and report findings to dentist
- Administer fluoride treatment
- Take quality digital x-rays
- Remove tartar, stains, plaque from teeth
- Apply sealants
- Document patient care and treatment plans
- Education patients about oral hygiene techniques and good oral hygiene
- Team player
