Location : Tulsa Oklahoma
The Manual Lathe Machinist & CNC Mill & Lathe Operator programs and operates manual and CNC machines to manufacture precise parts according to drawings or instructions.
What youll be doing :
- Program and operate manual and CNC machines including mills lathes and EDM machines to manufacture parts to specified dimensions.
- Inspect parts using micrometers calipers and other measuring tools.
- Set up machines perform offsets and edits without supervision and meet daily / weekly production quotas.
- Maintain clean work areas and assist with R&D design reviews.
- Mentor other machinists and assist less experienced CNC operators.
MustHave Qualifications :
- High School diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 5 years experience programming and operating CNC and manual machines.
- Proficiency with CNC programming calipers micrometers and height gauges.
- Strong math skills including geometry and trigonometry and basic computer skills.
- Excellent communication critical thinking and attention to detail.
