Pay Rate : $25-30 / hr
Schedule : M-F 8 : 00am-5 : 00pm
OVERVIEW
This client is an industry-leading biotechnology company known for leading the way in developing new therapeutic advancements .
In this role you’ll be working with a small team to perform quality testing on therapeutic technologies. This role will give you an opportunity to gain industry experience and grow your career while helping deliver new therapies to patients and their families.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- The Scientist will report directly to the Laboratory Supervisor / Manager and will perform routine and complex testing in compliance with laboratory test methods and procedures to support the manufacturing and timely delivery of product to customers.
- The Scientist will receive general instructions about required tasks and results expected.
- Work will be well defined and will be reviewed for accuracy upon completion.
- The Scientist is expected to apply standard practices and techniques in specific situations and to recognize discrepancies in results and follow operations through a series of detailed steps and processes.
- Additionally, the Scientist has accountability and ownership to maintain laboratory instruments in their qualified state.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in science field required
- Previous industry laboratory experience (quality department preferred)
- Wet Chemistry familiarity and background including (FTIR, UV-VIS, GC, LC, etc.)
- Excellent communication and technical writing skills desired
- Covid vaccinated
