Valeo Resources has partnered witha nationwide EAP group, and we're looking to add a Counselor to the team in Newark! In this role, you will be working with US Customs and Border Protection employees.
The position is about 20% counseling - the rest of the duties are a mixture of (within the station), attending shift meetings, collaborating with management, workshops / trainings, etc.

Requirements :
- Must hold independent clinical mental health license in the state of California(LCSW / LPCC / LMFT / etc.)
- Experience working with employee conflict resolution and facilitating workshops / training strongly preferred
- Must have desire to work with law enforcement population in an unconventional work environment (airports, customs and border protection stations, etc.)
- Experience with short term solution focused and / or grief therapy required
