Job Overview
The Inside Sales position supports the day-to-day operations of the Customer Service team in promoting sales, obtaining online orders, and providing service to our customers.
Utilizes and continuously develops product and application knowledge and industry best practices to develop solutions to meet customer needs.
Grows relationships with customers and suppliers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Receives and enters orders in an accurate and timely manner.
- Works with Marketing department to develop new customers through online chat, web shop, and email marketing.
- Managing customer information in CRM.
- Provides consistent and timely follow-up on customer inquiries and order status.
- Secures pricing from vendors, coordinates deliveries, expedites deliveries when necessary.
- Effectively processes returns to maximize value.
- Utilizes and continuously develops product and application knowledge and industry best practices to develop solutions to meet customer needs.
- Provides value to customer through the sourcing of material.
- Enhances and grows relationships with customers and suppliers through frequent, meaningful communication.
- Runs daily reports and resolves customer and order issues.
- Assists customers with billing issues.

Education and / or Experience
- High School degree or equivalent.
- 3+ years of prior customer service, or sales experience
- Computer skills to include proficiency with Microsoft Office, Outlook, Microsoft Windows navigation.
- CRM experience preferred.
Physical Demands
- Prolonged periods of standing or sitting.
- Ability to lift up to 10 pounds at a time.
- Ability to walk, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
