We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Electrical Assembler to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical assembly and a passion for working with electronic components.
This role involves assembling, testing, and troubleshooting electrical components and systems, ensuring high-quality standards are met in accordance with industry specifications.
Skills
- Experience working in a fast-paced production setting.
- Strong knowledge of electrical and electronic components, and be skilled in using diagnostic tools.
- Flexibility in work hours is required, including availability for any shift and overtime.
- Precision is essential, as the job demands working with very tight tolerances.
- The role involves working in challenging physical conditions, such as elevated heights, under machinery, and in confined spaces, to conduct repairs and diagnostics.
- A strong focus on safety is critical, as the work involves dealing with high-voltage electricity.
Job Duties
1. Preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical and electronic failures in distributed control systems.
2. Proven experience on installations in the Automotive Industry specifically in the BMW installation Standard.
3. Installation of Conduit, metallic and PVC trays and pipes for new electrical networks.
4. Maintenance of three-phase, two-phase and single-phase AC motors and DC motors of all capacities.
5. Interpretation of electrical and electronic drawings and diagrams (E Plan)
6. Installation and retrofitting of speed controllers (variable frequency drive)
7. Connection of communication wiring
8. Assembly of electrical panel boards
9. Knowledge of workplace standards.
10. Metrology
Job Type : Full-time
Pay : $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours : 40 60 per week
Schedule :
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
