Digital Product Owner
Location : Columbus, Ohio
Schedule : 1-2 days onsite or 100% remote for the right fit
Duration : 8 Months
Pay Rate : Up to $60.50 per hour / depending on experience
Our client, an established and well-loved Retailer, is looking for a Digital Product Owner with leadership experience for an 8 month contract with the possibility to extend or convert for the right fit.
This role will be 40 hours a week and ideally the Digital Product Owner can be located in Columbus, Ohio and go onsite 1-2 days a week, but they are open to someone 100% Remote.
Digital Product Owner Responsibilities :
- Own and drive the digital product vision, roadmap, and act as the SME for questions for and from the product team.
- Partner with cross-functional product teams and IT to deliver updates and new product releases.
- Document technical processes, workflows, and updates.
- Communicate with stakeholders to understand the current / future problems and then figure out the business requirements.
- Handle agile story writing and acceptance criteria generation.
- Ensuring that the product backlog is prioritized correctly.
- Attend meetings like daily standups, sprint updates, and lead meetings with team members.
- Manage third-party solutions and relationships.
- Ensure that the digital products are operational and meet the SLAs set.
- Recruit, train, and manage Product Analysts.
- Lead team meetings, 1 : 1 sessions, and other training sessions.
- Make sure that A / B testing is completed and that the development team stays on track for the outlined sprint goals.
Digital Product Owner Qualifications :
- 7+ years experience working in the digital space.
- 5+ years experience leading a team.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Experience working within an Agile Product Team.
- Any experience within the retail space is highly sought after.
- Jira and Confluence experience.
- Worked with 3rd party digital eCommerce platforms like Radial OMS and SFCC.
