Overview :
Teachers On Demand, INC., is seeking a dedicated and licensed School Psychologist to join our team in Philadelphia, PA. This part-time, per diem position involves providing psychological assessments and writing reports for K-12 students in various settings such as schools and medical facilities.
The ideal candidate will have experience in testing, report writing, and collaborating with educational teams to support student success.
Responsibilities :
Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations for K-12 students, including cognitive, academic, and behavioral assessments.
Develop and write detailed, individualized psychological reports that meet state and district standards.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to provide insights and recommendations based on assessment results.
Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings as needed, offering professional expertise on student needs and interventions.
Support the development of student-specific interventions, strategies, and accommodations.
Maintain accurate records, ensuring all documentation is completed in a timely and compliant manner.
Requirements
Qualifications :
Valid and current Pennsylvania School Psychologist certification.
Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field.
Proven experience working in a K-12 school setting.
Expertise in administering and interpreting psychological assessments for children and adolescents.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, particularly in report writing and presenting findings to school staff and parents.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a per diem schedule.
Knowledge of special education laws and processes, including the IEP process.
