Job Summary
The Forge Companies are a leading provider of settlement planning and business services to Plaintiff Attorneys and their Injured Party Clients.
The Director of Information Technology (IT) will manage the IT environment for the company including Infrastructure, Business Applications, Information Security, and Data Analytics & Insights.
The Director of IT will also lead the IT team, fostering a culture of collaboration, operational / technical excellence, and continuous improvement to Forge’s technology operations.
Essential Functions

- Proactive management and monitoring of Forge’s IT Infrastructure which includes the company’s Helpdesk, IT Asset procurement and management processes, network monitoring and management, data availability and backups, patch and upgrade management, and audit management and issue resolution.
- Development of robust management routines related to the collection of business applications used to process Forge and its related companies’ business including developing and managing a system / application inventory, managing configuration and integration, access provisioning and system access reviews, training and update / release management and communication.
- Development and deployment of the firms Information Security policy and program including Risk Assessment, Technical Assessment, Cyber / Data Incident Response, Vendor Risk Management, and Disaster Recovery / Business Continuity & Impact Analysis.
- Manage and direct the build out of Forge’s Data Warehouse and Data Analytics & Insights team / capabilities. In this area, the Director of IT will work closely with the company’s Data Insights team to build and maintain appropriate data models for critical systems, develop management dashboards, and reporting of topics ranging from Business Management to Risk Management, and ad hoc analysis.
- Lead and develop the IT team, focusing on talent development and promoting a culture of teamwork, innovation, and growth.
- Serve as a resource for the Business Units on matters related to Information Technology including attending various committees and Board meetings, and have the ability to communicate highly technical messages in a manner that is understandable to non-technical teammates.
- Manage the Technology budget.
