Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, train, and motivate direct reports through pipeline reviews, managing daily and weekly activities, forecasts, and closed deals.
  • Work cross-functionally to align prioritization & resources amongst sales, product, marketing, engineering, and operations.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment, pivot as needed and adapt quickly to change.
  • Strategically problem solve, project manage multi-step deals, proactively address problems and surface scalable solutions.
  • Hire, develop, and lead a world-class team to meet or exceed quota.
  • A focus on using MEDDPICC sales methodology day-to-day; leading a MEDDIC certified sales team.
  • Running a team focused solely on selling into the public sector, and knowing the processes that align with that.

Qualifications

  • 2-5+ years in sales leadership with a true manager quota.
  • Proven track record of consistently meeting and / or achieving quarterly or annual goals, as both an individual contributor and leader.
  • Experience tracking outbound KPIs / metrics.
  • Channel knowledge and experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience with team collaboration and a desire to help others grow.
  • Strong oral, written, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • History of developing strong internal and external business relationships across departments.
  • Experience running a full sales cycle, with demonstrated ability to prospect into, qualify, and close larger deals.
  • Public Sector sales experience is a bonus.

Pay Disclosure

At Verkada, we want to attract and retain the best employees, and compensate them in a way that appropriately and fairly values their individual contribution to the company.

With that in mind, we carefully consider a number of factors to determine the appropriate starting pay for an employee, including their primary work location and an assessment of a candidate’s skills and experience, as well as market demands and internal parity.

This estimate can vary based on the factors described above, so the actual starting annual base salary may be above or below this range.

This estimate is also just one component of Verkada’s total rewards package. A Verkada employee may be eligible for additional forms of compensation, depending on their role, including sales incentives, discretionary bonuses, and / or equity in the company in the form of Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).

$160,000 - $260,000 USD
