Metz Culinary Management is seeking a per diem Dietitian to help support our team at Terrace View Long Term Care.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
Assessing Nutritional Needs : Evaluate residents’ dietary requirements based on medical conditions, preferences, and restrictions.
Creating Individualized Meal Plans : Develop customized meal plans considering calorie needs, nutrients, and therapeutic diets.
Monitoring Food and Fluid Intake : Regularly track residents’ eating and drinking habits to ensure proper nutrition and hydration.
Conducting Periodic Nutrition Assessments : Perform quarterly and annual assessments to adjust plans as needed.
Collaborating with Healthcare Teams : Work closely with nurses, physicians, and other professionals to create holistic care plans.
Educating Residents : Provide nutrition guidance and empower residents to make healthy choices.
Managing Dietary Restrictions and Preferences : Accommodate allergies, intolerances, and religious requirements.
Compliance with Guidelines and Regulations : Ensure dietary services align with industry standards .
REQUIREMENTS :
Registered with the Commission on Dietetics Registration (CDR)
Exceptional interpersonal & leadership skills
Computer literacy and proficiency with EMR software and computer-based menu systems

We are seeking an RD with experience in a busy hospital setting, and one who possesses a compassionate nature, amazing communication skills and a passion for specialized health and dietary needs.
This position requires a polished and professional identity with a winning attitude from a Dietitian who is ready to hit the ground running in a fast paced setting.
The ideal candidate will have an engaging personality focused on our Guest experience. We are happy to consider candidates who have completed the required coursework and exam eligible, but strongly desire an experienced RD with Clinical experience.
Requirements :
- BS Degree in Food Service Management, Nutrition, or Dietetics
- Registered Dietitian
- Licensed RD
- Experience in a Contract Dining facility setting preferred
