Oak Grove School District has a total enrollment of over 8,800 students from grades PreK-8. There are 15 elementary schools and 3 intermediate schools, and a TK-8 Virtual Learning (VLA).

Five out of nineteen schools receive Title I funds. The size of the school ranges from the highest (750) student enrollment to the lowest (270) student enrollment.

About 15% of the District's students are White, 50% are Hispanic or Latino, 24$ are Asian or Pacific Islander, 3% are African American, and 8% identify as two or more races.

The percentage of English Learners is 20%, representing 56 languages spoken in the District. Thirty percent of the students qualify for free and reduced-price school lunch.

Job Summary

The District Nurse uses the nursing process,clinical expertise and professional judgement to design and implement health service programs that ensure that all students receive the optimum benefit from their educational experiences.

The District Nurse works with the multidisciplinary team to meet the physical, emotional and social health needs of the student.

The District Nurse works directly with and is supervised by the Lead District Nurse.
