Our client is currently seeking a Systems Modeling, Sim & Analysis Engineer
Independently adding features and capabilities to the existing Matlab codebase, including the technical background to accurately model basic physics phenomenology in terms of RF propagation, electronic warfare, missile flyouts, sensors etc.
Performing quality control on new features and the existing code base to include adding unit tests, and other capabilities to ensure that the results are accurate and that new features are interacting appropriately with the rest of the codebase.
Working with the team to understand what new features are required in the codebase to support analysis. In consultation with the team, taking responsibility for overall software architecture and quality control of the codebase, including how new features should best be added.
Performing modeling runs needed for analysis and building tools that allow for efficient batch runs and analysis of results.
This job will have the following responsibilities :
Data Analysis Tool Development using MATLAB
Proficiency in developing data analysis tools using MATLAB.
Modeling & Simulation
Experience with modeling and simulating complex systems.
Software Development
Strong software development skills.
Matlab Programming
Proficiency in writing efficient and effective MATLAB code.
Software Architecture
Understanding of software architecture principles.
Qualifications & Requirements : Active and Passive RF Sensing; Threat Modeling; Platform Dynamics
Knowledge of active and passive RF sensing techniques, threat modeling, and platform dynamics.
Modeling Sensing Technologies (radar and optical sensors)
Familiarity with modeling radar and optical sensors.
RF Signals (Antennas, EM Propagation and Modeling, Down-Conversion Receivers)
Understanding of RF signals, including antennas, electromagnetic propagation, and down-conversion receivers.
Classified Software Development
Experience in developing software for classified environments.
Aircraft, Missile, Satellite Systems
Knowledge of aircraft, missile, and satellite systems.
Air Surveillance Systems (., radars)
Understanding of air surveillance systems, such as radars.
Command and Control (C2) Systems
- Familiarity with command and control systems.
