Ability to read / understand, analyze, and interpret general training manuals, professional journals, or technical procedures;

ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from children, managers, Associates, members, and the general public.

Ability to identify problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions; ability to interpret a variety of technical instructions and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum one (1) year of Customer Service experience (food service industry experience preferred)
  • Food Safety certified
  • Professional, friendly manner and excellent customer service attitude and abilities
  • Strong verbal communication and conflict resolution skills
  • Enthusiastic, responsible, and dependable team player
  • Self-motivated, takes initiative, anticipate the needs of others and willing to acquire new skills.
  • Well organized and detail oriented

GENERAL SUMMARY This position is responsible for creating and serving food & beverages in the Café, maintaining Cafe cleanliness and to provide the highest level of Customer Service and Hospitality.

  • Greet customers as they enter and exit the Café.
  • Create and serve food and beverage items.
  • Promote daily specials and encourage upgrades to each order.
  • Operate cash register, process payments through cash or credit card handling and / or member account charges.
  • Café opening and / or closing duties, as required.
  • Maintain a clean, safe work environment according to State and Local food safety standards.
  • Understand and anticipate the needs of our members and guests; be attentive, listen carefully and follow through; provide exceptional customer service.
  • Communicate timely and follow up as appropriate.
  • Active participation in events, programs, meetings, and training
  • Represent the club in a professional manner through image, dress, communication, and immediate follow through and response.
  • Schedule varies and may require weekend and holiday hours, days, and evenings.
