Job Description
Job Title : Corporate Counsel
Location : Sarasota, Florida (3 days per week in office)
Salary : $175K-$185K plus bonus and equity

Responsibilities :
Provide legal support for corporate and subsidiary operations
Negotiate and advise on commercial matters
Support M&A through due diligence and drafting deal documents
Collaborate on legal issues including corporate governance, compliance, intellectual property, and data privacy
Must-Have Skills :
Juris Doctor with a strong academic record
2+ years of legal experience
Minimum one year of experience at a multinational law firm
Expertise in drafting commercial contracts (software licenses, supply agreements, etc.)
Understanding of litigation prevention and regulatory compliance
Nice to Have Skills :
In-house legal experience
Familiarity with corporate governance, labor law, intellectual property, and data privacy
Strong project management and organizational abilities
Requirements
