POSITION SUMMARY

The Business Operations & Quality Manager will oversee the daily operations, ensuring high-quality standards, and driving business growth.

The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing operational workflows, improving efficiency, and ensuring that our business objectives are met through strategic leadership.

This role is essential for optimizing our operations, managing inventory, and enhancing vendor relationships to support our growth in the e-commerce space (Amazon / Walmart / Shopify), Mass Retail, and Health Care Space.

The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical background, exceptional communication skills, and a proven track record in operations and business management.

JOB OBJECTIVES

Inventory Management & Demand Planning : Oversee and optimize inventory levels to meet demand across Amazon, retail, and online stores.

Implement robust forecasting methods to ensure inventory availability while minimizing excess stock. Lead demand planning efforts to align inventory levels with sales forecasts and market demand.

Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to anticipate product demand and plan inventory accordingly.

3PL and Vendor & Client Relations : Coordinate and maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, and clients to ensure alignment with company needs and objectives.

Manage relationships with 3rd party logistics (3PL) vendors to ensure efficient operations and delivery. Expand and develop new vendor relationships to support business growth and cost efficiency.

Conduct regular audits of suppliers and manufacturers to verify that ingredients and production methods meet Herbal Goodness' quality standards.

Operations and Product Support : Oversee warehouse operations, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with company standards.

Provide product support and troubleshooting to enhance customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Cost Management and Efficiency : Monitor P&L and cost of goods to identify opportunities for cost reduction and improved profitability.

Drive initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs across the supply chain.

  • Operational Efficiency : Oversee day-to-day administrative operations to ensure smooth workflow and optimize business processes.
  • Quality Assurance & Compliance Monitoring : Oversee compliance with FDA, USDA Organic, and other regulatory guidelines to ensure all products are legally compliant and ethically produced.

Ensure that all Herbal Goodness products meet industry standards for safety, efficacy, and quality, adhering to relevant regulations and certifications.

Project Management , Staff Support & Coordination : Provide administrative support to leadership and staff, including scheduling, meeting coordination, and correspondence management.

Manage business-related projects, ensuring that timelines, goals, and budgets are met.

  • Process Improvement : Develop and implement quality control processes and procedures to continuously improve product formulation, production, and packaging.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting : Utilize data-driven approaches to monitor performance metrics and make informed operational decisions.

Prepare and present detailed reports on inventory, vendor performance, and operational efficiency.

Communication and Leadership : Maintain clear and effective communication with team members, vendors, and other stakeholders.

Lead cross-functional teams to achieve operational goals and support the growth of the Herbal Goodness brand.

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION :

  • Proven experience as an Operations Manager or similar role, preferably in a warehouse or supply chain environment
  • Experience with inventory management, 3PL vendor management, and demand planning.
  • Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and tools.
  • Knowledge of P&L and cost management strategies.
  • Experience with Amazon FBA and Walmart marketplace operations is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Commitment to driving operational excellence and cost efficiency.
  • Experience working independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Project Management, Operations, or a related field. MBA a huge plus

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Readiness to adapt to a full-time hybrid work arrangement with 3 days in the retail Store in McKinney, Texas
  • Full-time position with flexibility for occasional travel.
