ABS Kids is looking for an Operations Manager to support the ABA Therapy center space in St. George, UT. Our Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services support intensive therapy for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) overseen by professional Behavior Analysts in both center-based and home-based environments.
The Operations Manager is responsible for providing management support to the BTs through facilities management, team communication, inventory management, ABS Kids policy adherence, coordination with support services, and leadership over BTs and administrative staff members.
The Operations Manager role is focused on ensuring that operations in their assigned area run efficiently while supporting the clinical staff in delivering high-quality ABA therapy and contributing to shaping a positive work culture.

What Would You Do?
- The Operations Manager role is a new role that is subject to change as we reorganize internal functions and requires flexibility, adaptability, and comfort with change
- In collaboration with management and Human Resources, participates in development, training, coaching and management of BTs
- Primarily focused on administering established policies and procedures and may have some impact on departmental budgeting, strategic planning, and procedural change
- Implements operating procedures and policies in line with overall business goals including monthly tracking of KPIs, budgets and team performance
- Responsible for the oversight of facility management, team communication, inventory management and ABS Kids policy adherence
- Fulfill management responsibilities over BTs and other administrative support staff as needed
- Act as liaison between parents / caregivers and Behavior Technicians, addressing any concerns
- Participate in weekly and monthly meetings to address non-clinical team needs and concerns
- Assist in the design, oversight and support set up / break down of patient and staff activities including daily activities, events, celebrations, and team building activities
- Support community outreach events in partnership with marketing and business development as needed
- Oversee the facilitation of coverage for cancelled direct care appointments, using available BTs
- Communicate administrative updates to BTs and administrative staff members
- Communicate team needs
- Delegate tasks as needed
- Complete orientation for new hires
Who Are We Looking For?
- Minimum High School Diploma, Bachelor's Degree preferred
- 3-5 years of management experience leading a large team of direct reports
- Demonstrated experience in addressing conflicts, providing constructive feedback, and managing difficult situations with stakeholders, clients, or team members.
- Experience leading and managing teams virtually preferred, not required, particularly for home-based assignments
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations
- Proficiency in Applied Behavior Analysis terminology preferred, not required
- Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification through the BACB and / or experience as a Behavior Technician preferred; not required
