A law firm in Denver, CO, is seeking a Real Estate Litigation Associate Attorney to bolster its litigation team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in civil litigation, with a preference for experience in areas such as eminent domain, condemnation, land use, leasing, landlord / tenant issues, and other real estate matters related to both public and privately owned property.
Duties :
- Represent clients in real estate litigation matters, including eminent domain, condemnation, and government takings.
- Handle cases related to land use, leasing, and landlord / tenant disputes.
- Manage all phases of litigation, including case preparation, discovery, motion practice, and trial.
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
- Conduct legal research and provide strategic legal advice to clients.
- Engage in negotiations and settlement discussions to resolve disputes effectively.
- Maintain effective communication with clients, providing updates and managing expectations.
Requirements :
- 3-5 years of experience in real estate litigation or related areas.
- Strong civil litigation background with experience in eminent domain, condemnation, and land use preferred.
- Proven ability to manage complex litigation cases and deliver superior client service.
Education :
J.D. from an accredited law school.
