Job Details
Responsibilities :
1. Oversee all accounting operations including Billing, A / R, A / P, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition.
2. Coordinate and direct the preparation of budget and financial forecasts and report variances.
3. Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements.
4. Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting.
5. Research technical accounting issues for compliance.
6. Support month-end and year-end close process.
7. Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
8. Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
9. Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
10. Liaise with company auditors for the annual audit.
11. Oversee the company's cash flow management.
12. Conduct regular risk management assessments.
13. Develop strategic plans based on company forecasts and financial health.
14. Manage the company’s payroll system and maintain updated records of payroll transactions.
Qualifications :
1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. A Master’s degree or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is preferred.
2. Minimum of 5 years of proven accounting experience, ideally in a leadership role.
3. Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
4. Experience in creating financial statements.
5. Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end / year-end close process.
6. Strong understanding of corporate finance and measures of performance.
7. Familiarity with financial accounting statements.
8. Strong working knowledge of the financial aspects of business including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
9. Excellent accounting software user and administration skills.
10. Strong attention to detail and confidentiality.
11. Proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
12. Excellent leadership skills with a dedication to driving and achieving results.
13. Strong analytical and strategic planning skills.
14. High level of proficiency in MS Office Suite.
