Parts Sales Professional - Impact Center

You’ll focus on :

• Identify and provide complete parts solutions for internal customers
• Places machine down and stock ordered parts in a timely manner
• May assist technicians with parts look-up needs while following the parts pick ticket processes
• Performs perpetual inventory via barcode system
• Verifies receiving and receipting-in of parts shipments
• May order miscellaneous vendor supplies such as Imperial as needed
• Monitors shortages, damages, and expedites processing through dealer business systems
• May assist on pallet, shipping stand returns, and envirocrates
• Keeps Parts Department clean and orderly
• Supplies Service Technicians with parts as required in a timely manner
• Promotes and sells products and / or services to meet customer needs
• Assists in answering phones for all of TNE as needed
• Ability to work with Parts Van and Pilot Car drivers as needed for transporting parts efficiently to all TNE locations
• Schedule all parts van maintenance / cleaning as needed
• May help with scheduling pilot car maintenance / cleaning as needed
• May compile and submit Aftermarket redemption processes for parts and service credits
• Perform all other duties as assigned by management in a safe, professional and efficient manner
• Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with peers, management, and support resources
• Conduct self in the presence of customers and community to present a professional image of True North Equipment
• Follow all safety rules and regulations while performing work assignments and adhere to all policies and procedures as specified in company manuals and as directed in the employee handbook
• Seek and participate in company / location driven training and development, communication efforts, including open book meetings, huddles, department meetings and other related efforts
• May help with parts sales coverage, parts on call coverage, or parts projects at TNE retail store locations as needed
• May help with IS inventory as needed
• Must be able to work 8 : 00am-5 : 00pm Monday through Friday, with the ability to flex to 7 : 30-5 : 30 as needed depending on workload, occasional Saturday and on call hours based on seasonal demand
• Must be able to maintain reliable attendance
• Candidates must have valid work authorization and be able to work in the U.S without company sponsorship

What we are looking for :

• John Deere parts experience preferred
• Must have excellent customer service skills to include phone customer service
• Must be able to retain positive relationships with customers and co-workers
• Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently
• Basic data entry / keyboarding skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• High School diploma or equivalent experience
• Basic parts and machinery knowledge
• Ability to use the John Deere computer applications and programs
• Forklift driving experience preferred
• Valid driver’s license required, must be able to drive company vehicles
