Partner with the best
As a Safety Valve Assembler, you will assemble complex components per assembly drawings / bill of material. Performs functional testing on assemblies.
Tests assemblies per customer and / or division criteria. Operates test equipment in compliance with engineering standards.
Applies settings, calibrates and maintains assembly tools. Performs torquing of various components. .
As a Valves Mechanical Assembler you will be responsible for :
- Repairing safety relief valves to National Board VR Code
- Testing safety valves with air, water, & steam
- Reading and interpret manufacturers drawings and spring charts
- Understanding of Steam boiler operating and testing
- Applying measurement & math skills to verify critical dimensions
- Performing machine and hand lapping of nozzles and discs
- Performing valve write-up
- Understanding the Pressure and leak test valves to National Board, API, and ASME standards

To be successful in this role you will require :
- Have a Highschool Diploma or higher
- 1+ Years experience with the Assembly of Safety Valves
- Experience working with Dial Caliper
- Experience working with Micrometers

Onsite hours M-F 7am-3 : 30pm with some weekend and other OT hours when needed
