Job Title : Mechanical Assembler
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler to join our team in Sheridan, Indiana. This role involves the final assembly of large CNC machines, utilizing a variety of hand and power tools.
The assembler will spend the bulk of their time putting the machine together piece by piece after it is received from the weld shop, then performing the final quality steps including administering body filler, sanding, priming, painting, and wrapping the product for shipment.
There is a long-term advancement opportunity to also learn how to wire the machines.
Responsibilities
- Assemble large CNC machines using hand and power tools.
- Perform final quality steps such as administering body filler, sanding, priming, painting, and wrapping the product for shipment.
- Read and follow written and verbal work instructions.
- Pay attention to detail to ensure customization based on customer needs.
- Commit to safety and quality standards.
- Communicate effectively and work well in a team.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency with hand and power tools.
- Ability to read and follow written and verbal work instructions.
- High attention to detail.
- Previous assembly experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Proven ability to use tools including Allen wrenches, sockets, drills, impacts, and hand band saws.

Work Environment
Shift : 7AM-3 : 30PM with little to no overtime currently. The facility is temperature-controlled and typically has music playing over speakers throughout the shift.
PPE and tools are provided as needed, including work gloves, protective glasses, and hearing protection. Steel toes are required and must be provided by the employee.
Our facility is clean, organized, and recently updated with new restrooms, office spaces, and a paved parking lot.
