Position Overview :
We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Hair Stylist to join our team on a contracted basis. The Hair Stylist will be responsible for providing professional hair care services to our residents in the comfort of our facility.

Responsibilities :
- Provide haircuts, styling, coloring, and other hair care services to residents in accordance with their preferences and needs.
- Offer scalp treatments, hair conditioning treatments, and other specialized services as requested.
- Maintain a clean and organized salon area, including sterilizing equipment.
- Ensure the safety and comfort of residents during hair care treatments, including those with mobility challenges or medical conditions.
- Communicate effectively with residents and staff to schedule appointments and coordinate services.
- Adhere to all relevant health and safety regulations and guidelines.
Qualifications :
- Valid cosmetology or hairstylist license in the state of IL.
- Previous experience working as a hairstylist, preferably in a healthcare or senior living setting.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor, with a genuine desire to enhance the well-being of others.
- Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule.
- Knowledge of basic hair care techniques and trends.
- CPR certification (preferred but not required).
