JobSummary :
The Director ofSupply Chain is essential in supporting our clients Operations teamto ensure safe highquality and efficient production.
This role willdevelop and implement a comprehensive Supply Chain Management Planin line with the companys business goals and strategicplan.
JobResponsibilities :
- Improvethe supply chain to support business growth and reduceexpenses.
- Oversee planning sourcingsupplier quality and purchasing ensuring talentdevelopment.
- Lead sales inventorydemand planning procurement and planning ensuring accurateforecasts and supply chainexecution.
- Develop inventorystrategies for maximum efficiency andquality.
- Collaborate withmanufacturing on outsourcing and insourcing for new and existingproducts.
- Create a sourcing strategyaligned with business growth and supply chaingoals.
- Monitor financial metrics andimplement fiscal controls to maximize costsavings.
- Develop operating budgetswith Operations / Finance.
- Establishcontrols and reporting systems for accurate information onperformance and savings.
- Stayupdated on supply chain trends through publications andconferences.
- Perform related dutiesand assist in general business management asneeded.
Requirements
JobQualifications :
- Bachelorsdegree in Business
- 5 years ofmanagement experience
- 7 years ofsupply chain experience
- Experiencewith ERP systems
- Ability to work ina refrigerated environment (30 F to 45 F) for up to 12hours
- Ability to lift up to 50pounds
- Strong teamwork people andcommunicationskills
