JobDescription :
Design and AnalysisEngineer will be responsible for analysis design development andtesting of static structural components that meet requirements forlife cost weight maintainability and durability.
Required skillsand experience includes :
Experience performing stressstrength vibration shock useful life and fatigueanalysis
Experience using Altair simulation productspreferred but equivalent software experience isacceptable
Experience performing topologicaloptimization studies
Experience supporting all types oftesting through the product design and qualification processincluding random vibration shock and mechanical failure
Create analysis reports and lead design reviews
Abilityto work with design teams manufacturing suppliers customers andchief engineers
Familiarity with CAD design softwaresuch as Solidworks Creo etc
Experience designing partsfor various manufacturing processes such as machining castingforging welding brazing sheetmetal forming and understands designfor manufacturability / assembly (DFM DFA)
Excellentverbal and written communication skills
Knowledge ofpyro shock environments a plus
