Candidates MUST be WI residents or willing to relocate to WI at their own expense prior to starting. This position can work 100% remotely (within the state of WI).
The Universities of Wisconsin-Systems Administration seeks a contractor to help augment our identity and access management team that oversees our Microsoft 365 tenant.
The current team members are involved in a project to move to Teams phones and this position would help backfill the M365 admins in their day-to-day M365 administration work.
The duties of the position include :
- Using the Office 365 Admin Center and / or Okta administrative tools.
- Configuring and maintaining mailboxes, including email forwarding, shared mailboxes, and email security settings.
- Implementing and maintaining security measures in M365 to safeguard data and applications.
- Working with and educating users on best practices and new features of M365.
- Having strong written and verbal skills to communicate with users and stakeholders.
